Delete Your Data or Account

Choose between clearing your financial data or permanently removing your entire account.

These actions are permanent

Once performed, the deleted data cannot be recovered. Make sure to export a backup before proceeding if you want to keep your records.

Option 1: Delete Data Only

This removes all your financial data while keeping your account, AI credits, and subscription active. You can start fresh without losing your plan or credit balance.

The following data is permanently removed:

  • All transactions and transaction history
  • All accounts (bank, cash, wallet, etc.)
  • All budgets and savings goals
  • All loan and debt records
  • All investment portfolio data
  • All scheduled/recurring transactions
  • All custom categories and custom accounts
  • All cloud backups and Google Drive backups

What stays: Your user account, AI credit balance, active subscription, and sign-in session.

Option 2: Delete Account

This permanently deletes your entire account and everything associated with it from our servers:

  • Everything listed in "Delete Data" above
  • Your profile information (name, email, avatar)
  • All AI credits (non-refundable)
  • Active subscription (non-refundable)
  • Sync history and device associations

Important Notes

  • Subscriptions and credits are not refundablewhen deleting your account. If you only want a fresh start, use "Delete Data" instead to keep them.
  • App Store subscriptions: Active subscriptions must be cancelled separately through Google Play Store or Apple App Store to avoid further charges.
  • Local app data: Data stored locally on your device must be cleared by uninstalling the app.

Before You Delete

Export your data

Go to Settings → Backup → Create Backup to save a copy of your financial records.

Cancel active subscription (if deleting account)

If you have a premium subscription, cancel it through Google Play or App Store first.

Check Google Drive

If you've used Google Drive backup, your backups will remain there unless manually deleted.

How to Delete Your Data or Account

Option 1: From the Mobile App

Open Money Manager Pro → Settings → Danger Zone. You will see two options: "Delete Data" (clears financial data only) and "Delete Account" (removes everything). Follow the on-screen confirmation to proceed.

Option 2: Via Email Request

Send an email to support@moneymanagerpro.app with the subject line "Account Deletion Request" or "Data Deletion Request" from the email address associated with your account. Include:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your account
  • Whether you want to delete data only or delete your entire account
  • Confirmation that you understand this action is permanent

We will process your request within 30 days and send a confirmation email once complete.
