Money Manager Pro ("we," "our," or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and share information when you use our mobile application and web platform.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account Information

When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from your Google account. We do not collect or store your Google password.

1.2 Financial Data You Enter

You may enter financial information such as transactions, account balances, budgets, savings goals, loan details, investment portfolios, and scheduled transactions. This data is stored securely and is only accessible to you.

1.3 Device & Usage Data

We may collect device identifiers (for sync purposes), app version, operating system, and general usage analytics to improve the service. We do not track your location.

1.4 Backup Data

If you use our cloud backup or Google Drive backup features, an encrypted copy of your financial data is stored on our servers or your Google Drive respectively.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • Provide the Service: Display your financial data, sync across devices, and generate reports and summaries.
  • Cloud Sync & Backup: Keep your data synchronized in real-time across mobile and web platforms.
  • Improve the App: Analyze aggregated, anonymized usage patterns to improve features and user experience.
  • Customer Support: Respond to your requests and troubleshoot issues.
  • Subscription Management: Process purchases and manage your subscription tier.

3. Data Storage & Security

Your data is stored on secure servers with industry-standard encryption. We use:

  • HTTPS/TLS encryption for all data in transit
  • Encrypted database storage for data at rest
  • JWT-based authentication with secure token handling
  • Security headers (HSTS, Content-Type protection, frame denial)

4. Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal or financial data to third parties. We may share limited data with:

  • Google: For authentication (OAuth 2.0) and optional Google Drive backup.
  • Google Play / App Store: For subscription verification and in-app purchase validation.
  • Hosting Provider: Our servers are hosted on Railway with encrypted connections.

We will never share your financial transaction data with advertisers or data brokers.

5. Your Rights & Controls

  • Access: View all your data within the app at any time.
  • Export: Download a backup of all your financial data via the Settings page.
  • Delete: Request complete account and data deletion through our Delete Account page or from within the app.
  • Correction: Edit or update any of your financial records at any time.

6. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, all associated data — including your profile, financial records, subscriptions, AI credits, and backups — is permanently removed from our servers. No data is retained after deletion. Anonymized, aggregated analytics data may be retained indefinitely.

7. Children's Privacy

Money Manager Pro is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

8. Cookies & Local Storage

Our web application uses browser local storage to store your authentication token and user preferences (language, theme). We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
